FaithESL provides weekend workshops for churches seeking to strengthen their ESL program. We introduce new and interactive ideas to church ESL programs with the goal of making ESL exciting and joyous for both volunteer teachers and their students.

$50 per attendee (minimum of 6), plus expenses.
Expenses (travel and acommodation) are negotiable..
Workshops are six hours and can be split between Friday evening and Saturday morning, or Saturday alone (recommended). Workshops can be tailored to your specific needs, but generally include speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Nancy Kirkwood holds a MATESL degree (Teaching English as a Second Language) from West Chester University (PA) and a BSEd in Education (Geneva College).
Nancy has taught English as a Second Language to adults from 28 countries. Her 20 plus years of experience teaching ESL have been in both the US and the UK.
A Pennsylvania certified tutor trainer in English as a Second Language and a Fellow of English UK, Nancy has been conducting ESL tutor training since 2001.
From Nancy’s formal teaching has evolved a ten-year long Friday Bible study for women whose native language is not English.
